Finnish start-ups ring the bell in the New York’s NASDAQ

The Finnish technology, medical and health & wellbeing companies are going to be introduced to the NASDAQ  investors. M-Files The Finnish technology, medical and health & wellbeing companies are going to be introduced to the NASDAQ  investors.
Finnish start-ups will ring the famous bell in the opening of trading in the NASDAQ stock market in New York on Tuesday. The trip has been organised by Amcham, a non-profit Finnish business association which has 300 companies under its umbrella.

Last time a group of Finnish start-ups ran the same bell in 2012 when they travelled in the US with Alexander Stubb, the Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade.

The purpose of the trip is to market Finnish companies in the US, as well as find possible partners and business opportunities for the companies. The success of Finnish gaming company Supercell and similar companies have boosted interest towards the Finnish start-ups in the US.

Today, the fact that you are a Finnish company, gives you an access to the investors. Finland offers new kind of international dynamics which has been noticed amongst the US investors, comments Mike Klyszeiko, Director of Amcham’s start-up side to Kauppalehti.
The companies included in the ceremony are Analyse2, BaseN, M-Files, Relaxbirth, SportSetter, Sports Tracker, EACC, Giosg, BL Stream, Borenius Attorneys at Law, IBM Finland, Magisso and Sullivan & Worcester.
